Soni Razdan praises Ranbir Kapoor’s parenting: “He’s a wonderful father”

Soni Razdan has shared her thoughts on how parenting styles have shifted over the years and offered warm praise for her son-in-law Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent conversation, the veteran actress described Ranbir as a wonderful father who takes an active role in raising his daughter, Raha.

Razdan noted that today's parents, particularly fathers, are far more present in daily childcare than previous generations. She pointed out that Ranbir does not shy away from responsibilities like feeding, comforting, or simply spending time with his child. According to her, this level of involvement marks a meaningful change from the past, when fathers often left such duties to mothers.

She also spoke about her own experience raising daughters Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, saying that each generation finds its own way to parent. Razdan expressed happiness that Alia and Ranbir are building a balanced partnership at home. She added that watching them navigate parenthood together has been a joyful experience for the whole family.

Ranbir and Alia, who married in 2022, welcomed Raha in November of the same year. Since then, both actors have kept their daughter's life largely private while occasionally sharing small updates.
